Douglas McCoy
With over three decades of hairdressing expertise, Douglas has worked behind the chair in a
variety of settings, on film and television sets, backstage at New York Fashion Week, and with
globally recognized product companies.
Driven by his passion for education, he co-founded House of POp in 2014 with his wife Amy, with a vision to establish a local hub for dedicated hairdressers. Over the years, House of POp has flourished into a space where new stylists can learn, experienced hairdressers can unleash their creativity, and clients can relish a trendy experience.
Throughout his career, he has collaborated with renowned brands such as Toni & Guy and Bumble and bumble. Douglas has now found his home as a Global Educator for R+Co. This partnership allows him to travel the world and share his zeal for the hair industry with thousands of students and professionals worldwide. When not educating, you can find Douglas behind the chair ensuring his clients receive the best customer-focused experience while simultaneously training and building an incredible team of stylists.

Bobby Tochterman
Originally from Wisconsin, Bobby first developed his skills as the master colorist of Cowboys and Angels Salon SF, eventually moving on to lead their education program. Before long Bobby’s reputation began resonating within New York's exclusive editorial climate and he relocated to NYC to hone his expertise under hairstyling genius Garren.
Raquel Negrete
Raquel has trained and worked with some of the world-renowned beauty industry icons such as
Efi Davies, Richard Mannah and Cos Sakas. During this time Raquel recognized her love for
helping others and she began teaching haircutting techniques to help other hairdressers bring
their skills to the next level.
Robert Vasquez
Originally from New York City, Robert began his career at Garren New York the day his license
arrived from beauty school. First appointed to assist Garren himself, he was quickly
promoted to Stylist, earning a chair at the prestigious salon. After working so closely together, Garren asked Robert to join the R+Co brand when the brand launched in 2014.
When he’s not traveling throughout the world bringing education to the industry, Robert resides in Southern California with his dog, Teddy.

Shep Wolsey
Shep Wolsey began his career in hairdressing over 20 years ago, after graduating from Cosmetology school and moving to Atlanta to work at the prestigious Van Michael Salon. In 2001, Shep
decided to open his own salon, Shep Studio, in Provo, Utah.
Shep is a prominent haircutting educator traveling to salons and schools throughout the US. When he isn’t on the road traveling, he is working behind the chair at his salon and hosts training weekly for his salon staff.

Sasha Zoghi
Co-founder of Revolution Salon in Minneapolis, Sasha started her career in the beauty industry by graduating from the original Aveda Institute in 1996. Sasha joined the R+Co EDU team in 2021 where she continues to pursue her love of education.
She is a staple backstage at New York and Parish Fashion Week every season, working with designers like Charlotte Ronson, Chloe Sevigny, Christian Siriano, Helmut Lang, and Hakan Akkaya.

Jesse Gaines discovered he had a gift and a passion for cutting hair at a young age.
Since his beginnings as an apprentice under leading educators, Jesse has always understood
how vital education is to the success of a hairdresser.
Twelve years ago, Jesse partnered with a life-long friend to start their own salon, Moss Hair Studio. His 23 years as a professional hairstylist have taught him what it takes to thrive in the industry. Jesse wants to pass his knowledge on by equipping stylists with the knowledge, tools, and the inspiration they need to thrive in the beauty industry!

Joshua McMichen a former United States Amphibious Reconnaissance Marine began his
hairdressing career in 2008. He is the Founder and CEO of Shearious Salon since 2011 located in the heart of Crabapple Market District, Milton Georgia
